Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other” doesn’t make any sense.
We’re coming together again for our annual Farm to Table yoga retreat with Pete Guinosso and this year, we’re escaping to the redwoods for an inspiring weekend of seasonal meals, multiple classes with Pete, redwood hikes and great company. We’re in love with this trip that puts these quintessential Californian experiences all together for one delicious, relaxing and magical weekend just south of San Francisco.
Pete offers a supportive teaching style that helps you journey into deeper relationship with your mind, body and spirit. His classes are powerful and have a beautiful flow that both cultivates inner stillness and strong practice. Every class, we get our bodies moving and use poses to help us move through challenges and recognize our own inner strength. With patience, breath and humor, Pete’s classes are always a sweet opportunity to help us act more from our hearts on and off the mat.
Not only will we gather on our mats, but we will come together around the table to connect more deeply to true ourselves through yoga and food. By tapping into the produce and creative rhythms of Spring, we align our bodies with the season. We will drink fresh mountain water and use this time in nature as an invitation to unplug and ground into what seeds we are ready to plant in our lives.
Between moving our bodies in revitalizing yoga classes with Pete and enjoying farm to table meals, you will spend your days relaxing in the forest, wandering through the towering trees or finding your own piece of heaven in California. This is a wonderful opportunity to soak up fresh air, amazing yoga and great company with simple and comfortable cabins and endless gardens and forest to explore. This is not a chi-chi luxury retreat, but a real, down-to-earth weekend away from the city.
Known for his joyful energy, skilled touch and sense of humor, Pete creates a spiritual yet light-hearted environment for his students to uncover the deeper benefits of yoga. Pete’s ability to compassionately guide students of all levels through a vigorous asana practice makes his classes amongst the most dynamic in the bay area. For newcomers and advanced practitioners yearning for a new adventure and challenge, let Pete be your guide!
