This beautiful summer retreat is an invitation to come together as women to activate the powerful embodiment of our inner truth and vitality. Through ancient teachings of Kundalini Yoga, meditation and chanting with Liya, we cultivate clarity of mind and create space to see our own wisdom and intuition. Together we will embrace that which allows us to tap into our most balanced, vibrant selves and support a community of self-love and nourishment. We will transform our limitations, remove subconscious blocks and drop the human story in order to frame a new vibrant experience of divine women in an Aquarian Age. In Kundalini Yoga, this Age is considered one where there is an expansion and awareness of energy and information, inspiring an evolution in dignity, strength, sacredness of female empowerment and consciousness.
Our weekend will align perfectly with the new moon, giving us an opportunity to celebrate this transition by releasing that which does not serve us to create space for deepening wisdom and alignment. We look to the new moon as a reminder of our capacity to reset and start a new phase with every breath and every thought. Both mornings, we will have the chance to also rise with the sun by starting the day with an optional 4:30am Morning Sadhana (meditation) before the morning yoga practice.
Recognizing the importance of food and nature as medicine, over these three days we will also savor abundant farm to table meals at our home, The Lotus Feed organic farm and retreat center. We will have the chance to shower under the wild canopy of a California Bay tree and walk in the beautiful gardens that surround us. Leaving some of the magic to be found up to your imagination, we invite you to meet us for an unforgettable weekend of woman power and community that will surely nourish and inspire.
“You have to do first things first. If you do not accept your own dignity as a woman, all external trappings shall mean nothing. It has nothing at all to do with any man or with any relationship. Once you accept your own dignity, the whole world will come to you.” –Yogi Bhajan

The Lotus Feed Retreat Centerat Taylor Maid Farms rests on 108 acres of vital Sonoma coast nature. Its diverse landscape provides the most exquisite and magical experience of raw and cultivated beauty. From ourredwood, fir and oak forests, to our thoughtfully designed circle gardens. Our ocean view ridge-tops overlook our colorful and hidden creek beds; The Lotus Feed Retreat Center is blessed with a full palette of wonder.
Start your day with a yoga or a pond side meditation and spend your day meandering through our medicinal herb gardens. Hike our trails through fern groves and cool off with a dip in the fresh water springs. Cultivate a relationship with the earth and lend a hand in the organic gardens harvesting the fruits and labor of the land to feast for our Farm To Table Communal Feast. End your day with a sunset yoga practice under the passion flower canopy and the rest of you evening can be spent star gazing by the fire pit.
We have thoughtfully crafted the native land into a perfect classroom to dive into wild edibles and medicinals. Our cultivated gardens and structures present learning experiences in permaculture and the peace and energy of the land provide a backdrop for transformation, learning and evolution. Farm to table meals will be harvested from our stunning circle garden and prepared in our outdoor pizza oven imported from Italy.
From luxury private yurts with vintage clawfoot bathtubs, to glamping in a teepee, the center is designed for any budget and all levels of comfort. Most of the accommodations are shared baths meaning that the restrooms are outside of the dwellings. There are several lux “outhouses” all with electricity and running water. One of the most special experiences at the Lotus Feed Center is the outdoor showers. They are built around a gorgeous California Bay tree and showers take place under the canopy. All tents are cozy and thoughtfully decorated and have beds ranging from doubles to twins.
The retreat starts at 5pm on August 10th and ends after breakfast on August 12th.
It’s suggested to arrive at The Lotus Feed between 1:30 pm-4pm, so you have time to settle into your room. If you’re flying in, we can help arrange carpools from either SFO or Oakland. If you’re booking a departing flight on the 12th, it’s suggested to fly out after 3:30pm.
