Join yoga instructor Abby Tucker at EcoYoga for this beautiful Scotland Yoga Retreat – the most incredible home of naturally-heated hot tubs, underground saunas, spa dome, and winding river. Deepen your yoga practice and explore Scotland’s rich spiritual story with visits to ancient stone carvings, castles, and more. Let’s just say we have plenty of insider secrets to guide the way.

THE HEART // This trip is so special for the combination of deep healing waters and lush home of EcoYoga mixed with Abby’s incredible teachings that are tied into the local history and culture of Scotland. Discover the unbounded beauty of Scotland on this magical week in a natural oasis. Daily yoga practices, nourishing meals, and an in depth look into the heart of Scotland’s spiritual roots make this trip one not to be missed. For this 7-day Scotland yoga retreat, we will stay at the one and only EcoYoga – home to naturally-heated springs, underground sauna, spa dome, comfortable accommodations, and delicious organic food from the EcoYoga farm. This dreamy setting is the gentlest invitation to unwind and slow down, to breathe a bit more deeply and take in all the fresh air you can.

This unique yoga retreat in Scotland will beautifully combine expansive teachings, magical accommodations, and an opportunity to dive into the ancient stories of our surroundings. Enjoy a perfect balance between restful days soaking in the springs and local adventures to sacred sites around our Scottish home.

We’ve searched for the best kept secrets, the most local treasures of this special corner of Scotland to find unforgettable local guides, hidden waterfalls, and ancient sacred sites to experience together. It is an honor to return for the third time with Priestess and Yoga Teacher, Abby Tucker. Abby offers an abundance of knowledge and deep connection to yoga on and off the mat. Abby Tucker

Abby Tucker is a beloved teacher, priestess and mystic, who is known for integrating her two paths — the practices of yoga — asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra and mythology – with mystical earth-based and gnostic wisdom. Abby’s classes offer dynamic biomechanics—gleaned from nearly 20 years of practice and study– within a variety of contexts, including strength and stamina-building; slow empowered flow, or workshop-style depth. Often described as a “teacher’s teacher,” Abby’s classes both nourish and empower students at every level of practice, from raw beginner to advanced practitioner. Abby’s chief mission in teaching is to help students unveil their internal wisdom and power, and to educate them into the depth of practice so that they can thrive in practice and life for the long-term.

Abby spent much of her childhood in a mystical field behind her home in Tennessee. It was there that she first learned that all of nature—including our own human nature—had a pulse, a rhythm and a cycle. She became enchanted by yoga at the age of 10, and began exploring Eastern religions and philosophies in high school and college. It was in 1998 that she finally came to the practices of yoga and, finding her entire life transformed by its alchemy, she left her full-time career in public relations and in 1999 turned her life over to yoga, becoming a full-time yoga student for the next four years.  She began teaching in 2002, earned her Anusara certification in 2005, and now holds an E-RYT 500 with the Yoga Alliance.

In 2012, Abby heeded the call of the sacred work of the priestess. She formally entered these practices in 2014 and is now an initiated priestess of the mysteries of Avalon through the lineage of Awakening Avalon.  The Sovereign Path is the integration of Abby’s yoga studies and her mystical practices.

EcoYoga Scotland

Nick and Rachel have created the ecoYoga Centre at Inverliever Lodge as an expression of their belief in a healthy, happy, carbon free and sustainable lifestyle. The transformation from an old outdoor centre to its present incarnation as a luxurious but still genuinely ‘eco’ holiday experience is now complete. Set in magnificent Scottish scenery; hills, lochs, rivers and forests abound. The ecoYoga Centre is totally off-grid. Powered by our 550Kw hydro turbine and a large bank of solar panels.

In our glazed studio, overlooking the gorge of the River Liever, you can learn the art of Yoga from some of the finest Yoga teachers in the world. The 60sqm shala is purpose built with under floor heating and a very calming ambience. Your body can melt into the warmth of the floor during Savasana (deep relaxation at the end of a Yoga practice) whilst the mind is gently soothed by the sounds of the nearby waterfalls.

We have several bathing areas and showers to choose from. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of the ‘Sento’ or public bathing house you can soak in our natural wooden hot tub in the Dome, or choose some hideaway bathing spots in the forest or river bank. Our artisan underground sauna is a real treat, perfect for warming up and relaxing those muscles. We have two cold plunge pools for cooling off, filled with water straight from the spring. The outdoor heated bathtubs are the ultimate in natural bathing and an experience not to be missed. It really is a magical opportunity to connect with nature and indulge your wild side.

ecoYoga food comes straight from the organic garden when in season. We strive to serve the most delicious vegetarian dishes. The main dining room is used during our larger retreats. The sun catching passive heating area is a great place to hang out, to read or chat with fellow guests.

Traveling is adventure of the senses and we build each trip to open our senses up to the world and be open to the world through our senses.

We believe the experiences that last a lifetime are the ones in which you are learning and integrating what you learn into your life. Our teachers and guides create unique opportunities for deepening and expansion of your practice.

We know that life is overwhelming at times and our nervous systems beg not only for the medicine of adventure, but for deep rest and rejuvenation. A week of quiet nights and deep sleep, time for napping and giving yourself permission to do nothing at all.

Our mission is to connect people to their purpose by exposing them to practices, people and places that bring out their deepest truths and desires. Each one has the intention to bring you into a deeper connection with yourself and your true gifts.

Come with no story to defend and no judgement to be had. Meet people who will change your life and/or share in all the ups and downs. Connect to old friends and family in a new way, on a retreat, or when you go back home.
