Join Devon Sweeney to experience the full spectrum of supportive asana practices amongst the adventure and majesty of Iceland. Amidst the days filled with hiking and soaking, we will observe our practice come to life in the elements around us. Through practices that embody earth, fire, air and space – practitioners will experience a progressive evolution through Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. As we travel through Iceland, we will feel the inner work of our yoga practice integrate with the sheer wonder of our surroundings.
Daily practice with Devon in the global heartland of geothermal energy, meditation, hot spring soaks, glacier hikes and the possibility of northern lights will be our foundation for this inspiring journey of inner and outer exploration. You’ll get a diverse experience in this magical land as we travel to from Reykjavik to the south and then to our favorite destination and what many Icelander’s call the most magical place in Iceland. Plenty of free time and optional trips make this escape customizable to all levels and interests.
THE HEART // We designed this trip to give you a delicious taste of some of Iceland’s most extraordinary wonders, from the glaciers, to the vibrant cozy city, to hot spring pools in the middle of nowhere, our trip is sure to bring wonder into your life.

Our Iceland Yoga Retreat is designed for people with all levels of yoga and adventure experience. Men, women, couples, best friends, old friends and soon to be new friends. Our goal is to connect as deeply as possible to nature and to the cultural core of this beautiful place. I mean how often do you get to go to Iceland with a group of people that are passionate about such similar things?!
This means we’ll be outside as much as possible, hiking to hot springs, walking in mossy fields (not on the moss), following rivers to see where they take us, climbing glaciers etc. Nothing we do is mandatory but everything we have planned is irresistible. This is not a “luxury yoga retreat” by any means, that’s not why we go to Iceland, but don’t be surprised if you fall in love with all of the charming places we stay, or the healthy food we work hard to find in a country known for it’s fermented shark meat and puffins.
Each day in Iceland is different. We’ll mostly do yoga only once a day, but some days we’ll have the time to do 2 and if the weather is nice we’ll throw in something in nature!
After arriving in Keflavik we’ll head straight to the Blue Lagoon, and then return to Reykjavik for three nights/3 days. Here we’ll soak in the magic of this unique city. We’ll practice yoga at the local studio, eat delicious food, take day trips and explore the music and night life that is so abundant in this fantastic city. This is your time to explore on your own and do any optional excursions of your liking.
From Reykjavik we’ll head to our favorite spot in Iceland, the Snaefellsness peninsula where will hike the magical mossy coastline and take in the place where most Icelanders seek out for its mystical nature and healing power.
