One day you finally knew what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you kept shouting
their bad advice– though the whole house
began to tremble and you felt the old tug
at your ankles. “Mend my life!” each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop. You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations, though their melancholy was terrible.
It was already late enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen branches and stones.
But little by little, as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice which you slowly recognized as your own,
that kept you company as you strode deeper and deeper into the world,
determined to do the only thing you could do–
determined to save the only life you could save.
We’re going back to Bali for our 3rd year in a row and we can’t wait to take you to this magical land of daily offerings, water temples, incredible food, sweet people, mystical mountains, incredible rice fields, awe inspiring beaches and much much more.
We’ve planned a beautiful, magical and authentic trip to the heart of one of the most spiritually abundant places on earth, Bali Indonesia and we want you to join us! We are so excited to have Alexa guiding this retreat! We’ve scoured Bali to find a beautiful yoga retreat center that would give us a taste of nature while not being too far from the cultural deliciousness of Ubud which is just 5 minutes away. While in Ubud we’ll dive deep into the culture and the nature of the mountains, visiting the famous Tirta water temple, hiking up Mount Agung for sunrise, taking an amazing cooking class and indulging in natural hot springs on lake Batur.
You’ll have time to explore Ubud on your own to visit the Monkey Forest or hike the Campuhan Ridge to soak in the beautiful views and rice paddies. Always retreating back to our sweet home at Naya for our daily yoga practices, massages, reading by the pool or walking in nature.
On our last trip to Bali, our founder stayed on to explore the area and scout the best food, activities and communities for this upcoming Bali Yoga Retreat. We know that traveling to Bali can come with a lot of questions about authenticity and we know we’ve done a great job at Yogascapes setting up the most authentic, safe and life transforming experience in this beautiful country and we simply can’t wait to share it with you!
