Shannan Hansen (RYT500) loves to work with people who are new to yoga or who are exploring using yogic principles in their everyday lives. She believes that yoga should be accessible to everyone and gives students space to discover their abilities and boundaries through alignment based classes that are challenging, fun, but ultimately restorative. Teaching yoga on the Moab Retreat gives Shannan the opportunity to fuse her passion for yoga and the outdoors. You can surely expect to connect with and find reverence for nature in her classes in the red rock! As a Certified Yoga Therapist, Shannan works with clients across a broad range of challenges, including weight loss, structural injuries, grief, anxiety/depression, chronic pain, and heart disease. She teaches yoga in Salt Lake City, Utah and enjoys rock climbing, skiing, swimming, and biking.
