“AN ECLECTIC MIX OF TRADITION, DESIGN, AND COMFORT TO RELAX YOUR MIND AND REFRESH YOUR SOUL.” –FELLAH HOTEL
The Fellah Hotel Marrakech is a truly remarkable oasis just outside of the bustling Moroccan city of Marrakech. The hotel itself is meticulously decorated with a fluid blend of traditional Moroccan flair and contemporary design. This stunning décor mirrors the guest experience, supplying culture and creativity alongside luxurious amenities and blissful wellness offerings. Fellah boasts a vibrant yet serene setting for the perfect getaway, located just 20 minutes away from both the Marrakech Menara International Airport and Djemaa el-Fna, the world-famous square of Marrakech city. Marrakech is the fourth largest city in Morocco, serving as a top attraction for visitors and an important economic hub. The Kingdom of Morocco sits in Northern Africa, one of only three countries spanning both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines. Although Morocco is mostly desert, Marrakech and The Fellah Hotel are protected from the extreme Saharan climate thanks to their proximity to the Atlas Mountain range. Consequently, Fellah enjoys a comfortable Mediterranean climate and diverse topography reminiscent of California. Marrakech is impressively green with many gardens throughout the city as well as 130,000 hectares of foliage and over 180,000 palm trees. A real desert oasis.
Although The Fellah Hotel is a mere 10 miles south of Marrakech’s lively square, guests will feel worlds away from the eager merchants and dizzying number of stalls. Situated in between Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains, Fellah offers a unique resort experience among the thrilling cultural discovery of the city and the undeniable tranquility of the countryside. With artists in residence and local villagers running the café, the setting is fueled by both creativity and authenticity. This cultural, artistic, and wellness haven is made up of ten spacious villas sprawling across 27 acres. Fellah’s luxurious amenities surrounded by olive and palm trees, a sparkling turquoise pool, and an uninterrupted mountain view make for the perfect escape.
“THE BOUTIQUE FELLAH HOTEL IS A SANCTUM OF TRANQUILITY, A FIVE-STAR DESERT OASIS WHERE RELAXATION AND RE-ENERGIZING ARE CENTRAL TO ITS CHARM.” –GQ MAGAZINE
The owners of Fellah Hotel say they are “driven by a passion to share [their] rich Moroccan heritage through [their] contemporary vision of the future.” They prioritize interaction with the surrounding village and the heart and soul of the resort’s philosophy is clearly geared towards promoting cultural awareness, artistic creativity, and eco sustainability for both guests and local residents. The Fellah Hotel, and a portion from each guest’s stay, are the key benefactor for the UNESCO-recognized nonprofit organization, Dar al-Ma’mûn. Through various projects and events, the organization nurtures up-and-coming artists in Morocco while promoting cultural enrichment worldwide. The nonprofit’s extensive library and cultural arts center are located on site at Fellah, making this hotel an absolutely magical blend of luxury resort and community arts center.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
With Marrakech to the north, the mountains blanketing the southeast, and the ocean just a few hours west, excursions are sure to excite in any direction. However, there is quite the array of on-site activities at Fellah, from lounging by the pool to taking up a Thai boxing class. Some noteworthy highlights include:
- Relax beside the Mediterranean leisure pool.
- Visit the education farm to collect eggs or pick vegetables.
- Practice yoga or visit the Hammam-style healing spa.
- Enjoy and learn traditional Thai massage.
- Try a Thai boxing class in the state of the art fitness center.
- Explore the impressive and free library which houses 10,000 books.
- Experience a variety of enlightened activities from DJ sets to educational banquets at the hotel’s main entertainment center, Salon Mahler.
The Fellah Hotel has a working farm and garden where guests can pick vegetables for their meal or milk a goat. The garden also supplies organic bounty to the main restaurant and TOUCO, a cafe near the pool that is run by local villagers cooking up authentic Moroccan street food. Guests can even sign up for a cooking lesson with Touco and his wife. Even the cuisine at Fellah aligns with the hotel’s ideals and decor, balancing traditional Moroccan flavors with a modern twist. Moroccan food tends to be very flavorful and heavily spiced without being spicy. If you find yourself eating at one of the endless food stalls in Marrakech, Fellah Hotel recommends stall #98.
Marrakech is classified as a semi-arid climate with mild, wet winters and hot, dry summers. The best time to visit the area is from March through early June with another sweet spot falling in October and November. The shoulders of the spring and fall seasons boast the most desirable weather for retreating.
