With a desire to connect deeply to nature we embark on this journey into one of the most amazing national parks in the world. Yellowstone invites us to sleep under the stars, breathe fresh air, move our bodies, embrace the elemental flow of life and grow our community of caring, like minded adventurers.
Welcome to one of the most spectacular places on Earth! Daily yoga, meditation, and hikes through the park will serve in grounding, bringing us closer to the earth and awakening our inner intuition. Celebrating the earth elements, we will dive into geological mysteries, uncovering some of Mother Earth’s greatest secrets.
Come home to a tribe that is awaking to life’s moments, and lay down what was never yours to carry.
— Chelsey Korus
With Chelsey as our Guide on the mat, we remind ourselves what it feels to be truly AWAKE, using practice she’s designed to bring us further into our wholeness. We’ll begin our weekend together with an opening yoga practice and dinner, allowing ourselves to settle into the comfort of nature and community.
This Yellowstone Yoga Retreat is built for guests who aren’t afraid to immerse themselves in the raw and rustic mountain wilderness. Those in need of grounding and fresh air will most benefit from this trip. All levels of yoga welcome!
We’ll start our day on Saturday on our mats with Chelsey. After a relaxing breakfast, we’ll carpool into the Park to walk around the Grand Prismatic Spring Overlook and view a rainbow spring pool. It’s truly a magical wonder! The hike is brief, but it will give us a first glimpse of the incredible beauty surrounding us. Anyone that wants to can go right down to the spring to see it up close. From there, you can choose your own adventure – continue on the same trail (part of Fairy Falls Trail) another 3 miles out, head over to Old Faithful with our Retreat Guide and hike there, or follow your heart on an entirely different path! We find that in an exploratory place like Yellowstone, the adventure flows best when we share great options that suit different interests and not always stay in a group. So our Retreat Guide will be there to support you on your very own Yellowstone experience.
On Sunday, we will carpool together for a rafting trip followed by more free time in the Park on the way back. After exploring we return home, as always, for more yoga and healthy meals to nurture our inspired spirits. We’ll soak up the vast open sky and surrounding landscapes, planting these seeds of adventure, freedom and connection to truth self in hearts to take back with us wherever we go.

Chelsey Korus’ teaching and movement philosophy comes from her passion for life and the inspiration she finds from nature. She approaches life through the lens of constant learning and loves to share the wisdom she’s gathered along her journey in hopes of helping others become AWAKE; to be aware and present in their own lives.
She began teaching yoga at age 15 and is proficient in numerous movement practices: Anusara, Power Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Acro, as well as martial arts, free form dance and ballet. Aside from an exceptional depth of practice, Chelsey is a triple major with degrees in Dance, Theater and Vocal Performance.
A decade of learning and teaching around the world has led her to design, AWAKE with Chelsey Korus — a “total package lifestyle” around SOUL *︎ SPIRIT *︎ ENVIRON MENT — “The concept of AWAKE is a driving force in my life… I don’t want to live another second asleep. These are the practices I’ve designed to help people awaken to their moment, and have the tools to step into their wholeness.”
“She has an incredibly powerful presence, it’s contagious. You cannot help leaving her classes feeling like you are ready to take on anything.” — Yoga2Life Radio
