Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other” doesn’t make any sense.
We’re in love with the California wine region. We’re also in love with good healthy, seasonal California food. We also happen to be in love with inspiring yoga classes with Pete Guinosso. Needless to say, we’re in love with this trip that puts these quintessential Californian experiences all together for one delicious, relaxing and magical weekend just north of San Francisco.
Between yoga classes, meals and drinking lots of wine, you will spend your days relaxing in the gardens, wandering through the vineyards or finding your own piece of heaven in California.
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Wildsoul, who create farm to table yoga events at farms and vineyards throughout California to create this unique experience. Campovida is one of Wildsoul’s favorite wineries and farms, and we are using one of their favorite seasonally inspired chefs to create a food experience to die for.
From Hopland, you may choose to explore before or after our trip! Head south to visit more amazing wineries in Sonoma or Napa. Head east into the mountains to discover our favorite hot springs. Head west to find the ocean and the redwood groves or head north for more adventure and solitude!
Known for his joyful energy, skilled touch and sense of humor, Pete creates a spiritual yet light-hearted environment for his students to uncover the deeper benefits of yoga. Pete’s ability to compassionately guide students of all levels through a vigorous asana practice makes his classes amongst the most dynamic in the bay area. For newcomers and advanced practitioners yearning for a new adventure and challenge, let Pete be your guide!
Campovida is a family owned and operated certified organic farm and working vineyard. This unique place offers deep connections with nature, wine tasting, a professional culinary kitchen, a 10-room retreat center and multiple spaces for conversations both big and small.
Hopland: population 817. When the Campovida team moved here, the number increased to 823. They recognize the importance of small communities and the role of local businesses supporting the local economy. Their small farm stand will offer only locally sourced and made olive oil, wildflower honey, artisan pillows, essential products, artwork and other beautiful and tasty creations from our community.
Their 13-acre organic garden, offers six gardens within a larger garden that caters to the five senses and is an educational experience in plant and insect diversity. It’s an organic immersion, planted over 20 years ago by a dedicated gardener intent on creating a space to honor and elevate taste, scent, and texture, ignite beauty, and cause the garden to vibrate with life.
Campovida is home to Taste of Place, which offers a collection of wines, epicurean delights, and artisanal local art and products that embody a philosophy that nurtures the symbiotic relationship between urban and rural areas.
Campovida supports our local Mendocino County organic, bio-dynamic, and sustainable vineyards and farms as well as the winegrowers and people who truly enjoy wine and wine culture. They handcraft their wines for distinct and easy to enjoy flavors that you will love.
We love that there is so much to do at Campovida and in the surrounding area. If simply enjoying being amidst the fields and vines and relaxing under the wide sky isn’t enough, we guarantee you will find something to please your senses here.
We believe that it is possible to create a one plus one equals eleven relationship. Therefore, we are very mindful of who we partner, build, dream, garden, sweat, and smile with. We are fortunate to have a small collective of individuals who share the same values and intent. This is so important to us and the reason we invite them into this experience with us.
Please note: Accommodation on-site is full, but we have opened several rooms in a nearby private vineyard estate or “Hill Site”, with stunning valley views, surrounding forest, relaxing patio, and cozy wood burning fireplace.
We encourage those that can’t afford the full price option to sign up early for the lowest price. We strive to maintain a balance between offering our programs to the widest range of participants and running a sustainable and thriving company so that we can continue to create and share our experiences with you. Please inquire about payment plans if you need help spreading out payments. We can split up your payments however final payments are due at least 45 days prior to the start date of your retreat.
