FP Yelapa Review – Dream Yoga Retreat in Mexico
January 21, 2016
I’ve gone on over 40 yoga retreats around the world and somehow I return from each one transformed in some way. Each yoga retreat has it’s own flavor, it’s own energetic aura that holds us in a unique a powerful way. Because each of us that somehow comes together, with no coincidence, is so different, we each get cracked open by something different on retreat. On this yoga retreat in Mexico at Xinalani, we had opportunities around every corner to connect more deeply, to crack our hearts wide open, to be a child again, to slow down. For some of us it was sleeping with the sound of the ocean dropping us sweetly deeper and deeper. For others it was hiking into deep into the jungle to connect with the river goddess and the magnetic, charged, grounded rocks. For some of us we found our edge and broke open our hearts in the sweat lodge ceremony on the beach. Some of us remembered who we are at the core during Aarona’s powerful yoga classes while others connected to themselves during the new moon circle, being guided by their Moon Decks. Some found inspiration in Indie Lee’s presentation on the sun terrace while others found inspiration listening being guided by Sophie’s three day cleanse.
We each remembered something, we each found an edge, we each connected to ourselves in a profound way that only our specific coming together would reveal to us in its unique and beautiful way… and although the imprints that were left on our hearts are the most important ones, these ones might inspire you to join us on our next FP Escapes Retreat to Spain – The Art of Ritual
