Where is La Selva Positano?
Often called The Jewel of the Amalfi Coast, Positano is just 30 minutes walking from La Selva.
“Positano is the coast’s most picturesque and photogenic town, with steeply-stacked houses tumbling down to the sea in a cascade of sun-bleached peach, pink and terracotta colours. No less colourful are its steep streets and steps lined with wisteria-draped hotels, smart restaurants and fashionable boutiques.” – Lonely Planet
“Positano is located in the Southern part of Italy, in the heart of the Sorrento Peninsula dividing two of Italy’s most beautiful bays: the Bay of Naples and the bay of Salerno. The village itself is built around a small curving bay on a steep hill overlooking the island of the Sirens.
It takes just over one hour to drive from Naples Airport to Positano, and by the time you are half way, past the archaeological site of Pompeii, and by the bay of Sorrento, you know that you have chosen the right destination. The coastline is rugged and rocky, every now and again allowing small sandy coves and tiny harbours to be animated by colourful fishing boats. You must stop a couple of times to take in the beauty of the scenery, the smell of the sea air, the jasmine and the sweet fragrance coming from the little bakery down below in the village. Small stores selling lemons, tresses of red and green pimentos, sweet small round tomatoes and bouquets of fresh basil welcome the newly arrived visitor to a world where beauty and goodness are as old as the volcano Vesuvio.” – Italia

This sounds like heaven, how do we get there and when?
There are several ways to get to La Selva Positano. We will be offering a shuttle service at 12:30 pm from the Napoli International Airport (information station outside exit of int’l terminal past baggage and customs) and 1 pm from the Napoli Train Station (just outside by Gran Bar D’Ago) on May 14th.
If you want to arrive on your own, you will be responsible for payment, although we can help make the arrangement. If your flight is delayed or you can’t make the shuttle time frame then you will have to take a taxi.
If coming on your own, please try to arrive by early afternoon. La Selva is a hidden gem and difficult to find if it is your first time. Allow yourself plenty of daylight for arriving and wear comfy walking shoes with sturdy bottoms.
We will leave La Selva by am on May 21st to return to airport & train stations in Napoli by 10 am. (if you need different arrangements, we are happy to help. Times outside our pick-ups are not included)
Our location is in Positano, but only reachable by foot. We will help arrange a group shuttle service from either Napoli train station or Napoli airport the morning of the retreat, May 14th, 2017 to get you to as close to the facility as possible (15 minute hike down). We will arrange for your luggage to be carried up to La Selva so you will not need to carry it up or down the mountain! Our arranged shuttle back to Napoli will leave the morning of May 21st, 2017 between 9.00 – 10.00 a.m.

If you do not take the shared shuttle…
